A bit about me
People often think it’s strange that I write heart-warming romances and dark psychological thrillers but to me it’s two sides of the same coin. I’m writing about the upside and downside of relationships. When I’m writing a romance there might be a bit of a rocky road for my characters but love prevails and all goes right in the end, usually. When I’m writing a psychological thriller then the path is a dark and twisted one and love goes drastically and often dangerously wrong.
I haven’t always written in these genres though. You can find out more about my long writing career on the About page.
I am a member of the Crime Writer’s Association, the Romantic Novelists’ Associaton, The Society of Authors and The Society of Women Writers and Journalists.
I live in Spain with my husband Dave and our two cats, Tizzy and Marmaduke.
A few months after we moved into our house in the Spanish campo we found a feral mother cat with three kittens under our pomegranate tree. We checked on them every day, and fed them and they gradually came closer and closer to the house as they got used to us. Then one day the mother cat went off and left the kittens. She returned a few days later to check on them then disappeared for good. So they became our pets. We called them Timmy, Marmaduke and Tizzy. Unfortunately Timmy became ill and died a couple of years ago but Tizzy and Marmaduke have become part of the family. They love to snuggle up on the sofa together.
