Karen King

Karen King is an Amazon international bestselling author, currently writing psychological suspense for Bookouture and women’s fiction for Boldwood. Her 8th psychological suspense novel, The Stepsister’s Secret, will be published by Bookouture on 16th February 2026 and her second golden years novel, The Old Gals’ Bucket List was published by Boldwood on 10 October 2025. This is her 13th woman’s fiction novel. Her first golden years novel, The Runaway Wives, quickly became an Amazon International Bestseller.

Karen has also had 120 children’s books, 2 young adult novels, and several short stories for women’s magazines published. Her early writing career was spent working on many teenage and children’s magazines. Her suspense novels The Mother In Law, The Perfect Stepmother, and The Stranger in my Bed, and her romantic novel The Cornish Hotel by the Sea, all became Amazon International Bestsellers.

Born in the UK, she moved to Spain eight years ago with her husband Dave.
